It's Been a Long Almost-Year...

Hello people of Earth!  Yeah, for the few people who read this, I realize I've been gone and inactive for almost a year.  Trust me, I'm probably more irritated than you!! I don't like being unable to do the things I want to  do.  But enough of that, let's get to the explaining.

Well to start off with I've moved.  About two-thousand miles to be precise.  My dad got a new job in Michigan, which resulted in a surprise, about one months notice move from SoCal to south-eastern Michigan.  As a result I had to quite my job (which I wasn't too upset about because I disliked it anyway, even if it did mean a loss of what little money I was earning), and had to pack up all of my sewing gear.  I've only just gotten it all unpacked in my new house, but there are still a few other roadblocks.

As for the writing I have no excuse.  I really don't.  I've just lost inspiration for all of my ongoing stories, even the ones I haven't shared!  It's been stressful with moving into an apartment, then a house, changing colleges twice, and adjusting to the cold (seriously Michigan!! Must you be so cold!?) that I've hardly been able to write anything.  

That is also part of the reason I've not put any costume ideas into action; I've simply been too busy.  Things are finally settling down so hopefully I can get a move on with projects I had already started.  However, there are two factors keeping me from moving on to any new costumes that were previously in the design phase.  

First off, I've not been able to find a new job yet so I have no way to financially back my projects.  Secondly, my sketchbook had decided to go AWOL on me.  I don't know how, but it lost itself.  Without it, I can't upload designs for critique or put projects into action; even those I already have supplies for because I can't recall some of the details.  In short, I am not a happy person.

But it's a new year!  Welcome, albeit belatedly, to the year 2013!! Maybe a new job is right around the corner and my sketchbook may return to me soon!  I can only hope!
